Takashi Sato
Studied psychology for Ph.D. at Vanderbilt (Jeffrey Schall), then postdoctoral work at Janelia Farm Research Campus (PI Karel Svoboda). Continuing to study the neural circuit functions underlying behavior.
When he is not in the lab, he is sprinting on the track.

Kenta Abe
Currently studying the motor cortex and stroke-recovery. Prior to pursuing academia, he was a national level soccer player.
When he is not in the lab, he enjoys reading Japanese manga.

After getting Japanese medical license in 2020, he is now a neurosurgery resident (neurovascular and trauma) and graduate school student of Yokohama-City-University (M.D, Ph.D).
Enjoys baseball (played as a pitcher for 15 years, fan of Shohei Ohtani) and Japanese anime (One piece, Demon slayer).

Gianna Cespedes
Junior at the College of Charleston Honors College, double majoring in public health and international studies with a concentration in global studies. Plans to attend PA school and potentially work for a non-profit like Doctors Without Borders.
Enjoys thrifting, reading, and exploring new places.
